These five recordings are well-chosen, excellently-produced, and
-annotated performances by valid (if not necessarily innovative)
artists in their home settings, and certainly rank with the best
jazz recordings coming out of Canada to date... Efforts like PM's
Canadian series earn the support they deserve -- and these five
albums eminently deserve attention.
